nagios checkresults after RAMDISK

Post by Mitchell »

Hello,

I applied the nagiosramdisk settings per the documentation however I still see the new checkresults are being written @ old path.
here are my nagios.cfg settings.

Code: Select all

#check_result_path=/usr/local/nagios/var/spool/checkresults
check_result_path=/var/nagiosramdisk/spool/checkresults
Do we need to make change somewhere else as well?

Code: Select all

 ls -ltr  /var/nagiosramdisk/spool/checkresults/
total 0

Code: Select all

[root@pnagios01lxv ~]# ls -ltR  /usr/local/nagios/var/spool/checkresults/|more
/usr/local/nagios/var/spool/checkresults/:

If you have passive results coming into NRDP you may need to edit it in /usr/local/nrdp/server/config.inc.php

looks like that was it.
Seems the NagiosRamDisk document needs update. Also, it appears that nrdp is not supposed to pick the config settings from config.ini.php under nagiosxi?

Thanks
