Logos not working

Post by geoffreykobrien »

CentOS 6+
64 Bit
VMWare OVF Install
Nagios XI 2012R1.4
-----------------------------------

Can I find this directory?
http://serveraddress/nagiosxi/includes/ ... ges/logos/

I added icons into /usr/local/nagios/share/images/logos and when I go to them in the web, they do not work. The http://serveraddress/nagiosxi/includes/ ... server.png works, yet I can't find it in the server anywhere. I have restarted the server, yet im pulling my hair out trying get this to work.

you will also need to place copies of your logo in

Code: Select all

/usr/local/nagiosxi/html/includes/components/nagioscore/ui/images/logos/

Got it working thanks.

I also noticed that if I set an image in the CCM, and I apply it; the next time I make any change to the host it reverts back to not having an image, thoughts?

Are you making the change in the CCM that causes it to revert back?

It looks like you need to use the "Icon Image" field to have a specific icon for a host. However, you're correct, the "status icon" field doesn't not appear to be saving properly. I just confirmed that bug.

After importing 3792 windows hosts, I really don't want to do them by hand. Is there a workaround?

There may be a usable workaround however the dev's need a bit of time to look into it, I suggest you submit a bug report to the following site, from there they can reply directly to you, make sure to add a link to this thread. If you are unable to create the bug report I can file one for you:
