How to delete "contact" account quickly?

Is there a quick way to delete "contact" directly without having to delete all of them in the monitoring items first?

Unfortunately much like host and service dependencies, if a contact is set for notifications, it cannot be directly removed. However a relatively quick alternative to this would be to use contact groups for all of your notifications. This way you can add and remove contacts from the groups as needed and can directly remove all groups from individual users on one screen.
