Backend login to the Core Config Manager failed

After a successful install/login, I attempted to monitor an SNMP based linux machine and received the error:

"Backend login to the Core Config Manager failed."

I've followed the instructions listed in the FAQ to reset the credentials but to no avail. Any ideas?

I have done so several times since I posted that and it fails each time.

Something curious - As I'm sure you know, there's Core Config and a "Legacy" Core Config. It appears, the "Legacy" version works fine in that I can pull up hosts, services, etc. whereas the "new" CCM doesn't pull up anything when I try to check the same settings.

Not sure if it's related, but I did notice that.

Run the following commands to resolve the CCM issue:

This is a high priority issue that will be fixed in our 1.6 release later this week.

Do you have version 2012R1.5b ?

If so this could be related to a bug that was introduced in that version. Our developer are working for a fix to that and will be releasing a fix shortly
