Re: Monitoring Audio Streams
Correct me if I am wrong, but wouldn't each monitored IP give me the total usage for the NIC?

Yes, I just thought that you were looking to get down to the nitty gritty, if you would like to monitor the entire input and output together it would do, assuming that everything that you are trying to monitor points to the NIC then all the IP's behave the same.. I need more coffee.

Re: Monitoring Audio Streams
i am trying to monitor separate streams that use unique IPs but all traverse the same nic out of the shoutcast server.
I need to see the amount of bandwidth each stream is using over a period of time.

Re: Monitoring Audio Streams
Is there any way to get the bandwidth usage from the shoutcast server? If the shoutcast server is a linux box, you could try setting up virtual interfaces for each connection, and then monitor the bandwidth used by the port.
