Monitor Server - Critical Status- Connection refused by host

Post by sathiyaraj »

Dear Team,

I Installed Nagios XI in centOS 6.3 X64 bit. I tried to config my server to Monitor some services like disk usage, CPU Status, Load, Mysql server..etc. When i config my server, it doesn't ask server log in name and password. but configured. Status is Critical Status- Connection refused by host. Please give me a idea about this.

Thanks & regards

Did you run one of the pre-installed Monitoring Wizards in XI?
If you are using NRPE, you need to make sure that port 5666 is open.
Note: I assume you are not using NSClient++, because our wizards would ask for an agent password.
