Nagios Version? Nagios XI 2012R1.6
I'm trying to setup NSCA following the instructions from the pdf: http://nagios.sourceforge.net/download/ ... _Setup.pdf
but I get
# ./to-nsca.sh "Hello there"
Could not open config file 'send_nsca.cfg' for reading.
Error: Config file 'send_nsca.cfg' contained errors...
I'm primarily trying to follow the "Nagios XI – Log Monitoring with Swatch" and this is one of the requirements.

Does the error give you any more direction than what you posted? Can you share your send_nsca.cfg file?
Where is to-nsca.sh placed? Looking over the documentation it appears you will want it to be in the same directory as send_nsca.cfg.
