HI,
I'm would like to implement a FUSION scenary.
Now i have just one Nagios xI running, and i would like to implement another one. For this I cloned my nagios xi and reconfigure the networking for this VM.
The thing is, if a delete all the services and host from this new Nagios xi (cloned) there is any problem to use this to generate the Fusion arquitecture??? or there is some issues with the licensing or ID's, or anything???
what you recomend???, because I have cloned thinking in all the change that i made to the Nagios and OS to run some plugins.
Thanks!

Re: Generete NEW Nagios VM for FUSION
You should be able to run Fusion and Nagios XI side by side, I'm not sure why you want to delete the hosts and services though and not use the XI install at all. It would be much faster and more secure to install Fusion from source on a fresh system, rather than cloning the VM, deleting key Nagios XI objects and only using fusion on that system. This also brings me to the point that we only support our software on fresh installations. Issues could arise from using a modified Nagios XI VM for hosting a fusion system. It is up to you though we can try to help if you run into issues.

So you are going to monitor both with XI, as long as they have differing addresses this is fine.
