Service setup problem

Post by JAMES-BAE »

Hello,

I am trying to setup and manage a service named (ImageRight.E-MailReceiver.Service.exe) on a Windows Server 2008 R2. The ImageRight sevice is located "C:\Program Files (x86)\ImageRight\Services\imageright.emailreceiver.service.exe
On the Nagios server, I have setup the service with the name imageright.emailreceiver.service. I get an error the states the service is not found.

Can you provide an example of how you are running the command from the Nagios system when you get this error? Is this the friendly name of the service?

Is this the name of the service or the .exe?

If you go to services.msc and right click -> properties on the service, what does it display in

Code: Select all
