Hello,

is it possible to create a host-group in nagiosql , for inactive hosts?
in poor words create a group to archive inactive hosts?
if you can help me, i will be very grateful.

You could but you would not want to mark them inactive as they would not show up at all, instead you could turn active & passive checks off on the check settings tab.

Ok, i have turned off active and passive checks and left the host active. Also i have created a new host-group with host member (the "inactive host"). But because of the host template used (i think), nagios still check this host.

You should not be getting any host checks on the host that you turned off active and passive checking on. This blocks anything from being sent or returned from the host, in a sense, it is a simple on and off switch. Can you open your template and post its contents in here? As well as the host and hostgroup config files?
