$HOSTALIAS$ macro acting weird in 3.4.4

Post by wezelboy »

We upgraded to 3.4.4 last week and I've noticed that in e-mail notifications the $HOSTALIAS$ macro has replaced all spaces in the host alias string with plus signs. Putting the host alias in quotes just adds a %27 at the end and beginning of the macro.

Is there a way to fix this, or is this a bug?

FWIW, restarting nagios appears to have resolved the issue.
