How to extraxt alert dump for a week/month in Nagios?

Hi,

I need to extract the Alert dumps for one week or a month for all the Hosts and services , when checked I came to know we can only extract the alerts for a day at a time from Nagios.log.

Kindly let me know if there is any Addon or something that I can use to accomplish this.

What have you used to check this? Through the Alert History Legacy Report you can see a report of the Alert history on all Hosts and sort this by Detail or Notifications, I think this is probably what you were talking about. With the Event Log report you can set a From and To date for Events specific to the Nagios server, this will include Host and Service alerts.

You can also view a Host Up Time breakdown via the Host Availability Report, and create a custom report through the Alert Summary Report for that time period.
