"=>" Denotes object relationship elsewhere

Post by ahmad.zuhd »

i have assigned a host to hostgroup. When i wanted to check the host, and select manage hostgroups, i saw the host group not assigned with the sign =>. I noticed a help text "=>" Denotes object relationship elsewhere

does that mean that the hostgroup is already assigned?

Yes, the CCM allows group relationships to be created either from host->hostgroup, or hostgroup->host. Users tend to use one method over the other depending on how they manage their configs.
