Actions component

The problem I am having is that the ACTIONS component, not actions url, isn't saving the settings i put in it. the difference I am seeing between my testbox and prod box is that:
When I set a host group and update the settings the host group disapears from the settings and the settings dont apply
also there are only two fields available and not 3.
I am running the latest version that came with xi 2012 1.6

What is the version # of the Actions component?

Admin->Manage Components

Did you try clicking on the "Check for Updates" from the "Manage Components" page to see if there is a newer version available?

I am running the latest version that came with xi 2012 1.6

I forgot to mention, for some reason the apply applied my settings to all of my objects and not just the one hostgroup I selected. I cant reverse this because of the issue above

sorry about that.
Hey, I tried to delete the component and then re reinstall after the reinstall, the url and url description was still there. Is there a way to uninstall the component and the components settings? The I can reinstall it fresh and maybe that will fix it.

the reason there is only 2 fields is because you haven't saved any more... They are added dynamically

thanks. actually we did an apply config and we have all three ffields back. But the bigger issue, which is the settings not saving is still there.

When you click on a host, member of the "Peabody" hostgroup, do you see the "Action" link under "Quick Actions"?

also I am not using the actions url (I tried it today but that also doesn't work)

I am using the actions component and no the link doesn't show up.

If you are saying the settings aren't saving that sounds like an issue, can you tail the error_log while trying to save
