hostname vs host adres

hostname vs host adres

How many people are changing the check_nagiosxi_http_service from hostaddress to hostname.
I'd actually would like to see that all -H commandline options be replaced bij hostname as for the adress you have the option -I
I have to change it after every upgrade. as it is being overwritten..

hostaddress doesn't work for me as I have more then 20 different websites with about 6 different ipaddresses on a single server.

What was the "old" version of XI you were using and what version did you upgrade to?
