Feature Requests

Post by notverynick »

Hi Guys,

Where should I submit feature requests?

I have a couple :)

New CCM does not have the help buttons beside all the settings, I'm swapping back to the old one at times to see these. Can they be put onto the new CCM too.

Lists in the web GUI. In various places you can choose to display 5 or 10 or 15 items, or in some places unrestricted. Can this be set the same across the board and can there be a setting somewhere that I can choose to have all my lists default display everything.

I'll think of more I'm sure. Keep up the good work guys :)

Yes, you can submit any feature requests to the following site:

http://tracker.nagios.com/

1. (CCM): I believe this was intentional though I may be incorrect, I agree, the help buttons are a nice feature.

2. ("Display ____ Dropdowns"): This has to do with how the database houses this information I believe, though feel free to add these both to feature requests from the link above.

The in-page documentation is currently available from the Documentation dropdown at the top of each page.

This depends on where you are in XI, but if you're outside of the CCM, those settings are saved per-user, so if you select 100 from the list, XI will remember it next time you log in.

In the CCM, you can set a static default from the Core Config Manager->Core Config Manager Admin->Config Manager Settings page.

Thanks guys, probably should've delved a bit deeper before asking :)
