Hello
I have wrote a large ammount of configuration and check scripts in Perl for a nagios core installation. We are now lookign at moving to Nagios XI for better configuration management and reporting capabilities.
I was wondering if there is a way to easily migrate the object configuration between the two. Is there a way of just giving Nagios XI the objects.cache file from my old Nagios installation?
Regards

Not really, but there is an importing option for core configs --> XI. See the following documents:SamKidman wrote:Is there a way of just giving Nagios XI the objects.cache file from my old Nagios installation?

Yes, core migrations are fairly common. Take a look at this section of the manual, it should cover what you need.
