I am currently running XI 2011R2.4 and need to upgrade. Has anyone know of any docs that would assist. Also, if anyone has done this, what issues to look out for. I have only one Nagios server and don't want to mess it up.
Thanks,
Ed
Upgrading XI
Re: Upgrading XI
Is your server running in a vm? You could always snapshot it and then run the upgrade. This allows you to revert if something got messed up. Also, you should consider backing up your xi data before doing so. See the backup document: http://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagi ... ing_XI.pdf

You can follow this document:

Each Nagios XI license is approved for up to three installations: one primary monitoring/production, one backup/failover, and one test environment. Just to be on the safe side, I would recommend trying the upgrade in a test environment first, before implementing it in production.
