Data mine network bandwith

Hi All,

I have nagiosxi running and just wondering if there is some "plugin" or scripts that can help me gather information. What I have in mind is that I am monitoring 20 network devices and need to pull out the "top 10" bandwith usages ports..from the 20 devices.. for example..

is this by any means possible to script ? Or is there some already built solution for this in nagiosxi ?

Have you taken a look at the Bandwidth Usage Report in the Reports section of Nagios XI? This may be what you are looking for. This will allow you to filter bandwidth usage of network devices, and is a nice pair with the Switch/Router Monitoring wizard!

Yes I have used the "Bandwidth Usage Report" but there I can only look at one single port at the time, What I need would be total bandwith report of certain device or be able to compare bandwidth between devices. Alrighty let us know how that goes for you, as far as in-depth network analyzing, we do have a piece of software in beta called the Nagios Network Analyzer, we do not actively support it, but you are more than welcome to try it out:
