Hi,
I would like to know if there is any way to generete a persistent conection to vCenter with the plugin nagios. Because by default is getting fill my event logs on vcenter. And that is becoming a issue, cause i can't see real event on vcenters.

What types of errors are filling your logs from the plugin check?

Re: Persistent conection Vmware plugin
The thing is that the tab of TASK / EVENT in my vcenter is full only of Nagios XI logins events. And when something happen in the vcenter for other cause i cant see because the nagios logins make me lose this specific event on vcenter, because this event go to the tail of the list in less than a minute.
I atache a picture of the case...
And i would like to know if there is any way to generate a persistent conection and don't make logins every time that nagios need to collect data.

Re: Persistent conection Vmware plugin
With the nature of Nagios checking doing intermittent polling every X number of minutes, I don't know of a way to do that without diving into the code of that plugin. However, I have come across a different method for monitoring VMware that might be worth looking at.
