Additional Information on Host status Page

Hi

I've done quite a lot of searching and not really found this mentioned before but I was wondering if any one has come across some thing or knows a way that I could put extra info on the host status page.

Ideally this is static information about the server and maybe links to access it etc.

I could put some of the info in the comments but it would be better if i could have links in it and for it to be better formatted etc.

If this is for Nagios XI, there's a custom column component that allows you to add notes for a host.

Thanks but unfortunately it for nagios core and its not quite what i was looking for Ideally i'd like something that would allow me to notes for the host in general

The one mike linked was for XI not core, if you would like to see this in core feel free to post a feature request for it!

I randomly came across this so I though id updater this incase it of use to anyone else

Under the host definition temp I've put

notes_url http://10.10.10.148/nagios/notes/$HOSTNAME$.html


Then for each host I've made a html page with the information about host which is useful so we can have all the documentation for our equipment in one place and easily acessible
