Unconfigured objects not showing up

Recently i've had no unconfigured objects showing up, they are using NRDP and they reach the server as can be seen from the logs.

Apr 11 14:10:00 localhost nagios: Warning: Check result queue contained results for service 'MySQL' on host 'testhost' but the service could not be found! Perhaps you forgot to define the service in your config files?

This has happened in the past but i can't recall how it was solved (I guess it was solved on the Customer NAGIOS XI forum which now i have no access to).

Are these NRDP plugin results coming from a Windows server or a Linux server? Has this happened to all of your NRDP objects? Troubleshooting steps will be different for each.

Hi slansing, the normal checks for the machine for objects that are already configured show up, just new ones don't.

They are coming from a linux server (any linux server with a new object to be configured)

When you run on the client:

do you see the "testhost" in there?

I actually see no crontab for the user

Do you see any errors if you try to reinstall NRDS on the client machine?

You can view all of the commands you need to run on the client under the NRDS Config Manager. Click on the "Client Install Instructions" next to your config.

Are there any spaces in the hostname, that you are using?

it's NRDP not NRDS.. I believe the problem lies on the SERVER, not the CLIENT

Hi Slansing, i have cut this down to fewer lines, some are just repeated OK statuses so not of much value... also the hosts were hidden for security however as previously stated on a previous message you can see there the " Check result queue contained results for service 'TIME' on host 'XXXXX', but the service could not be found! Perhaps you forgot to define the service in your config files?" this tells me that the checks are reaching the server, so no issue with the client here i guess?

Is the feedproc cron running?

If so, are you getting any errors when tailing this log
