Log file monitoring

Hi,

I have a log server which stores application logs very frequently. If any errors in my application, it will be updated with time stamps.
Sample:

[Critical] Unable to fetch the info
[Warning] Overload
[Ok] Restored

I wanted to monitor this log file and verify this message very frequently. Do we have any plugin to monitor this?
-Its a Single file and it will be overwrite. we should find the last string and it can be monitored via Nagios. Please check and confirm for this suitable plugin..

There are a number of check_log plugins on the exchange. Most allow you to check for a string and alert based on what it finds. See the following links:
