Hi Team,
we are asked to implement Nagios XI in a cluster - with 2 servers, where the primary server will be monitoring the entire infrastructure and in case of its failure the secondary server will do the job -of monitornig the entire infrastructure - till the primary server is up and running, we also want the flexibity to configure everything on the primary server, please suggest if we have come across a scenario like this and if this kind of configuration is possible.

Most of our high availability (HA) clients implement failover on a lower level than the XI software - usually db replication and HW/OS level clustering like DRDB or Linux HA.
