Deleting a Notification Settings Template

Post by uidaho »

I would like to delete a Notification Management Setting, but am not sure how to do so. There does not seem to be a delete option? There is only an option to load a template?

Admin -> Notification Management -> Templates

Thanks.

Could you expand a bit more as to what setting you are trying to change? Are you looking to change notifications that are being triggered by a specific host/service? Or global settings notification settings? There are quite a few things this could be :).

It is a lot simpler then that. I have created three Notification Templates.

Admin -> Notification Settings Management -> Available Saved Templates

There are several "Available Saved Templates". I poorly named one and need to delete it. How do I remove it from the "Available Saved Templates" drop down?

You can remove it by deleting the associated file in /usr/local/nagiosxi/etc/components/

They start with _dn_

Actually quite embarrassing we forgot to add a delete method

This has been added for the next release.
