Re: How to monitor Sun solaris cluster 3.3 with NRPE
NRPE is an agent that runs scripts/plugins locally on the checked machine. This would be on a per-server basis, not a cluster. What types of checks are you looking to perform on the 'cluster', but not each individual box?

Dear Abrist,
Thank you very much for your reply.
In fact, I would like to monitor each individual box in a Solaris cluster. Or is there any other way to monitor them else except NRPE ?
Thanks again.

You can add the agent to each box and monitor them individually

http://library.nagios.com/library/produ ... -using-ssh

This depends on your environment, you could also monitor then via SNMP, or via SSHgsgan wrote:Or is there any other way to monitor them else except NRPE ?
