Hello All,
I am not able to receive any email notification when my host has a warning, unknown and/or critical under status information. I have attached some screenshots. Please help Iam using the 60 day trial of Nagios Xi, i am not sure if maybe because I am using the 60 day trial it may not support the email notifications.

Re: not receiving any notification alert having a warn/criti
Email notifications are enabled in the trial, as are all non-enterprise features (there is a trial for those as well).
It looks like you have a service check, not a host check failing. What are the notification options for the service check?

Here is the notifications for the service check
I just tried sending me a test email but I do not receive them in my outlook my email is [email protected].
I did a test email on my personal email [email protected] I did receive it there, but not in my outlook. Do you know why?

Is your outlook address being routed through an exchange? If so it may be bouncing back an email from Nagios XI's address, does it use SMTP as opposed to sendmail?

Re: not receiving any notification alert having a warn/criti
Hello I think I am not receiving the email notification thru my outlooks because my company's policy only allows valid emails. I called my company helpdesk and this is what they reply below:
"I went through your ticket log and did not found any specification from which email address are your receiving/not receiving those alert.
I tracked down all your traffic and only found notifications were from [email protected] .
You will not receive any of those emails as mentioned email address is not valid email address. Please ask system admin who is managing those alerts to use valid email address as FROM. Those alerts will keep failin until valid smtp address is added."
I checked the maillog I see the mails being send in the log but i do not receive them. Is there a way we can change this invalid email from=<[email protected]> to something more valid like "[email protected]" ?

Looks like they want you to use a valid smtp account. You can set up a valid account on the: Admin --> Manage Email Settings page in XI.
