You are right as well. After an hour, the XI links will take me to a login page. Though curiously, if I click once on some other link somewhere in the fusion interface like configure etc. and then click one of the XI links, it works. Seems like a fusion session-related bug. Are you able to reproduce/experience this behavior on your fusion box as well?
Yes. Confirmed same behavior replicated. We need this addressed ASAP.

Did you restart apache after making the session.gc_maxlifetime changes to the XI boxes? I have been testing this some more and the sessions to the XI boxes was the cause. The main frame of fusion has the code that keeps the sessions open, so changing pages in fusion will reinitialize the session or the timeout. The sessions are actual being closed by the XI machines.

Yes, of course.

Code: Select all

service httpd restart
It isn't intuitive if users are required to click on another page and then go back. Did you test it by staying on the Tactical Overview screen, then clicking on one of the XI hosts after an extended period of time?

I am testing this as we speak... well, just started, so I will let you know if I was able to recreate this issue in an hour. If I experience the same behavior, I will file a bug report, so that our developers can look into this more closely.
