Switch change
Switch change
I replaced an Avaya switch with a Cisco switch and reused the same ip address. Some how in the process I got the old port numbers (like 1 - 24) stuck in rrd. When I use the wizard to setup the new switch it finds the ports correctly (like 10104 - 10112) but when it shows me the results it complains about the xxxx.rrd file doesn't exist. Its right it doesn't exist. The old ports number files still exist. I tried deleting them but after a few seconds they came back. I need some help on how rrd works and how to correct this problem. thx

Did you follow this document for changing/adding switches and routers to MRTG?
