Cancel auto discovery = delete job

Hi, this morning I went into the auto discovery jobs and edited an existing job. After editing I clicked "Re-Run Job". As the job was running I noticed I had made a mistake with the subnet so hovering over the orange cross it says "cancel" so I clicked cancel. However it promptly deleted the job and I had to recreate it. No big deal but confusingly the orange cross for a running job is cancel but for a non running job it is delete, however it seems both are really delete ?

Using Nagios XI 2012R1.8 Nagios VM
