Solaris Server Local DISK Errors Monitoring Plugin

Post by [email protected] »

Hi!!!

Is there any plugin to monitor the Solaris Local Disk Errors ?

We have implemented a Nagios core and we are able to monitor CPU,FAN,Temp with the help of check_sun_hw_490 which is available in Nagios Exchange SIte. But for local disk failures is there any plugin to monitor?

Kindly help me to do this since we need to do it urgently.

Thanks,
Gopi

Hi!!!

The Provided link contains basically the File-system level monitoring but what we need is we need to monitor the local disk hardware errors/failures.

How can achieve this?

Thanks,
Gopi

I guess, depending on you hardware, one would first need to determine if this information is available from the system, and if so where...
