Outdated WebInject version

I was checking the webinject version that comes with NagiosXI and realized it's a very outdated version. The currently included version is 1.4.1, from 2006. There has been many updates since then (but by another developer). Changelog is available below:

I would like to know if there are any plans on updating this tool. Thanks.
