NSP: Sorry Dave, I can't let you do that is displayed after the login screen appears and you have entered your crendentials. I recieve this error when travelling around different world office locations and try to access the NagiosXI web portal that is a VM based in Oregon, I have read the forums about time locations and have changed this but the error is still given.
This will always be setup in the USA HQ and I want to log into the web interface from the UK via our deadicated VPN, I can remote in and log into the VM NAGIOSXI with no issues and like previously stated it will actually load the login nagios page. I appreciate that the time would be different but this is always going to be the case. If we purchase this system we will require to login from different locations as we have an office in (UK, SPAIN) which are on a different time zones.
Thanks,

Re: NSP: Sorry Dave, I can't let you do that
To get some clarity as to what is going on. Your nagios server is in the US with a US timezone and ntp configured? The remote workstation(s) are a laptop you use and carry with you or one in each remote location? Are they set with different timezones or the same as the nagios server? Are the nagios system time and php time set in the same timezone? Are either of the systems off correct time, and varying on minutes from the Nagios server? What browser are you using?
Nagios-Plugins maintainer exclusively, unless you have other C language bugs with open-source nagios projects, then I am happy to help! Please pm or use other communication to alert me to issues as I no longer track the forum.
Re: NSP: Sorry Dave, I can't let you do that
That is correct, the time zone on client machines are GMT and on NagiosXI server it is PST. Have tried using 3 different browsers IE, Chrome and Firefox with a cleared cache.
Re: NSP: Sorry Dave, I can't let you do that
As long as the timezones are configured on the server and clients correctly, this shouldn't be an issue. Try walking through the following document just to be sure:
