The important thing is that it includes the "sbin" directories. Normally it would look like this, although this isn't the only "correct" answer possible:

Code: Select all

/usr/kerberos/sbin:/usr/kerberos/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin

Having same issues with Gnome installed. Cannot get the install completed correctly just like original poster.

What is the solution for users that need or have Gnome installed for one reason or another?

Thanks in advance!

mocjack, just change your user's PATH shell environment variable to what I just posted above before starting the install process.

Got it all to work. I am up and running under 64bit CentOS without issue now!

Thanks all
