Code: Select all

service nagios stop

killall -9 nagios

service nagios start
Please share the above command's output's.
Not that I've seen, so far.

Code: Select all

[root@mon1 etc]# service nagios stop
Stopping nagios: done.
[root@mon1 etc]# killall -9 nagios
nagios: no process killed
[root@mon1 etc]# service nagios start
Starting nagios: done.
[root@mon1 etc]#

I can't tell if it will attempt to do it again - the schedule was every Saturday 2300-0400
Keep an eye on it and let us know if it happens again. You may send your latest configuration snapshot to [email protected], so that we can take a look at it.

If you decide to send us your config snapshot, make sure you are sending it from an email address that is registered with us. If you send it from an email, that is not in our system, your message will bounce back.
