After adding an new host I am getting this alert. I am still trying to get up on Nagiosxi
CRITICAL - Socket timeout after 10 seconds
Any idea's on why this happening?

Is this a linux nrpe host? If it is, you need to install the agent on the remote host.

This an VMware install of lunix. I had the agent installed. I did restart the service and it looks like it working fine now.
