NagiosXi Auto Discovery glitch???

Post by mholtaftac »

I've just installed the demo version of NagiosXi on a Redhat 5.8 clean build system.
I'm now trying to run the auto-discovery wizard which completes and finds 80 host.
I click on the "New Hosts" under "Processing Options" and it takes me to "Monitoring Wizard - Step 2" This page is blank.
I click "next" and it takes me to "Monitoring Wizard - Step 3" which is blank.
I click "next" and it takes me to "Monitoring Wizard - Step 4" which as the following:

Monitoring Settings

Define basic parameters that determine how the host and service(s) should be monitored.
Under normal circumstances...
Monitor the host and service(s) every minutes.
When a potential problem is first detected...
Re-check the host and service(s) every minutes up to times before generating an alert.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

Mike

Can you show us a screenshot? Do you see something similar on Step 2 and 3?

Hi mholtaftac,
I am the creator of the Host Creation Tool. Just so we don't cloud the problem, please continue to troubleshoot the Auto Discovery issue with lmiltchev. Once that has been resolved, if you are still getting issues with the Host Creation Tool, please email me at [email protected] and I will help you resolve the issue.

Cheers

Troy

So, should I just blow everything away and reinstall from scratch? We've put a pruchase request in to buy this product, but so far haven't been able to demo on our systems. management is happy with me right now.
