NagiosXI scheduled downtime

Post by Fred Kroeger »

Noticed that there are no dropdown lists for hosts/services when doing a scheduled downtime which means entering them manually.
But they do appear when doing a recurring downtime. Can the dropdown lists be easily added to scheduled downtime.

That is correct, Scheduled Downtime uses the core feature to schedule, so if you would like those menu's you would need to use recurring, but only set it to happen once.

Thanks for the info - I guess it would make more sense for the interfaces to be consistent though.
The dropdown lists are extremely helpful for those of us whose typing skills are less tha 100%

I do agree Fred, they are helpful. I'll put it on the wishlist.

The biggest problem is that it would require a new creation of this section of the software as this was just the core page "proxied" through to XI.

I'll see what we can do.
