Oracle Server Monitoring Error

Hi Friends,

im trying to monitor Oracle server but facing some error

Installed Oracle server in Linux/Windows Server and i its working in normal servers, but while im trying to monitor in nagios, we are facing some problems like

Error as:

"CRITICAL - cannot connect to 10.0.0.14:1521XE. ORA-12545: Connect failed because target host or object does not exist (DBD ERROR: OCIServerAttach"

Attaching the scren shot of the error, where i followed the document provided by the nagios for Oracle.

System:
Nagios XI Version : 2012R2.2 | PHP Version: 5.3.3
Offloaded MySQL DB on another virtual machine
16 CPU with 2 cores each | 32 GB RAM | 1 TB HDD
CentOS-6.3 |Total = 4,000 hosts| 40,000 services.

It would seem that it is trying to do [IP]:[port]XI which having the additional letters would most certainly cause issues. Could you provide one of your service definitions? Also what documentation were you following?
Nagios-Plugins maintainer exclusively, unless you have other C language bugs with open-source nagios projects, then I am happy to help! Please pm or use other communication to alert me to issues as I no longer track the forum.

Hi Team,

I tried installing Oracle Express edition in Nagios XI for monitoring purpose and oracle XE is succesfully installed, but if im trying to monitor, it is showinfg error

and my lsnrctl status is showing successful

I am attaching my error screen shot and lsnrctl status output file.

Please help us resolving the issue.
