We installed NagiosXI in RHEL 6.4 Machine with fullinstall script. Please find the attached file which we followed for installation...
That installation only for single stand alone machine, with the help of fullinstall script everything is installed in single dedicated system.
its working fine.....
My query is : Can we install Nagios server in separate machines like..One machine for Nagios server and another machine for Mysql and Postgresql server.
Is this possible ??? If yes
Please suggest and share the documents with appropriate web links.

Offloaded MySQL DB on another virtual machine
16 CPU with 2 cores each | 32 GB RAM | 1 TB HDD
CentOS-6.3 |Total = 4,000 hosts| 40,000 services.

What you can do is offload the Mysql database to an external server which does not have to have nagios xi Installed on it. To do so follow this guide:

Currently you cannot offload the postgresql system, or rather, it is not supported to do so. If performance is causing issues for you, please let us know and we can give you some guides on how to improve this.
