What do you mean by this question? When they receive an email it should indicate both the host, and the service that caused the alert, then they can navigate to Home > Service Detail or Host Detail and find the object. Is this what you were asking?

Can the user log into NagiosXi and "Click" some where to see all the hots/services of which they are being alerted on, and see the thresholds in one report?

They obviously can see the hosts/services, but they may not necessarily be configured to receive notifications, for certain hosts/services though their login account has access to see the hosts/services.

Well, if they are only allowed to see the hosts/services for which they are being alerted then the interface should reflect this. They could alternatively look at their contact definition and see what hosts/services it is assigned to.

Furthermore to see what is causing alerts currently "hosts/services" in a problem state, you can use the Operations Center or the Tactical overview to get a filtered view of these problems.

How can a user see their contact definition in Nagios Xi?

Please provide instructions, as I'm passing this along to the users.

Thanks

You can navigate to Configure > CCM > Contacts, and then look for their user's name in the list.

The "user" will not be able to use CCM, is there any way to get this information via the NagiosXi web interface?

Thanks.

Contact definitions are readable only from the CCM or the command line, as they are configuration files, if the user does not have access to see them in either one of those places then there is no way to work around that due to the sensitive nature of the configuration files themselves.
