db2 monitoring

Hi Team,

Can you explain step by step processor to monitor db2 server from nagios core.

i have downloaded check_db2_health plugin but unable to configure it.
my db2 server running on windows machine
what are the things i need to do on my db2 server, do i need to install any agent also what are the ports i have to open to monitor server

Please explain as it is very IMP to me to understand how it will work

I would take a look at the following page as we do not have the utilities to check this plugin locally in house. The page linked gives a good run down on the plugin, as well as a help section below where some people have shown the commands they used to run the plugin. I am not sure if it is valid to be used within Windows but I do know it will work with Linux:

There are a number of db2 plugins on the exchange, although check_db2_health seems to be the best one:

There is no "wizard" for db2 currently, but as stated previously, there are a number of decent plugins on the exchange.
