This doesn't look like a complete file...
In addition to that, I don't see "check_nrpe" defined, even though you said in one of your previous posts:

well thats the thing, i have two commands files, but that one that i posted i use as my main one and add definitions into it. The weird part is, when i tried to add check_nrpe into that command file, i get a error for duplicate defintion, even though i havent defind it before in that file.

You should never have two commands.cfg files, remove one, or copy it's contents "that are not duplicates" to the other file, and then remove it. This is going to cause conflicts.

wow this is a mess. Ok so i combined them into one file and remove the other, but i had to comment out alot of the commands due to the "duplicate definition" nightmare, and one of the commands i had to comment out was the check_nrpe. This is what my new command file looks like now:

Did you also get a "duplicate" warning for "check_nrpe"? It's defined only once in the commands.cfg. Verify your config one more time and post the output:

yes i got a error for duplicate definition when i tried adding check_nrpe. The second path you listed, what is that suppose to be linked to? I might have different paths
