NRPE Windows doesn't check 2nd network card

I'm implementing Nagios on our windows servers. They all have 2 network cards, for example, "Network card name" & "Network card name #2". But nagios gives an error of the second network card on all servers!

UNKNOWN 07-16-2013 09:42:44 7d 16h 42m 4s 3/3 Unknown - Network card name #2 no row return.

I use the get_netio check of wmi 1.3.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Can you post the plugin or link to where you found it? This doesn't sound like an issue with nrpe, but the script you are using, just to clarify.

I test get_netio on a machine with two network cards and I don't get the same error.


Can you run the following on the windows command line and post the resutls

I forgot to mention that am using the script twice.
For the first networkcard I use get_netio and for the second I use get_netio, both with the same cscript.

I've executed ur script wrong haha.
I''ve done it properly now and found out that the name of the second networkcard isn't VMware Accelerated AMD PCNet Adapter #2 but VMware Accelerated AMD PCNet Adapter _2. I've used it before but didn't notice the space between Adapter and the underscore because of the font.
But thanks to ur script I saw it in the pop-up!
