E-mail and SMS Notification

Hi,

I configured e-mail notification in nagios xi through smtp but i getting error "smtp connection timed out ",please help me to sort out this problem.
How to configure SMS Notification, in service provider list not containing any company's from India

We don't currently have the feature built in that allows custom carriers, however, you can send SMS message through email, which is actually how XI sends it anyway. You just have to identify the address for the carrier and pair the phone number with it. The format XI uses for it's carriers is at follows:
[email protected] (sprint)
[email protected] (t-mobile)

Our next release will allow you to define custom SMS carriers. That should come out in the next week or so.
