I have a nightly recurring downtime period scheduled for a particular service that has worked flawlessly for 6+ months. New Year's even I got an alert about said service right in the middle of my downtime window, followed shortly after by a recovery message.
I checked the config after getting into the office this morning and the service is still set for recurring downtime at the defined period. Didn't get any alerts on the 1st or 2nd either.
Just curious if anyone else saw recurring downtime fail to create on New Year's eve.
Anyone else's recurring downtime fail on New Year's

Hello,
I have not seen others reporting this issue as of yet. Are you still not getting any alerts?

Re: Anyone else's recurring downtime fail on New Year's
Actually the problem was that I got alerts when I shouldn't have (the service was supposed to be in downtime). This particular event occurs nightly (backup job writes to a local drive before copying to network location, so I schedule downtime for disk space on that drive while the nightly backup runs) and I haven't gotten an alert since.
Looks like it was a one time thing...we'll see what happens next year

Hmmm, I am glad it was an isolated event but that is odd indeed. Definitely touch base with us if that occurs again.
Thanks!
