NRDS checks and Ops Center View Sorting

Post by jbennett »

Is there any way to allow for sorting of the Ops Center views? We are running upwards of 16000 NRDS checks currently and will be adding about 2k more.

For instance, sort by host name (alpha or numerical) then sort by service name (alpha or numerical).

This would help to group alerts which would help to identify problems since the symptoms will be grouped together.

Is this currently possible and I've just not seen how to do it?

Also, is it possible to allow for hyperlinking in the Ops Center, just like the tactical over view page allows for?

The OpCenter was designed to be a read-only display which is why there are no links, as well as showing the most recent problems on top.

That said, if you would like us to create a custom version of the component for you that groups and sorts the hosts/services and links them to the Status Detail page, please feel free to contact [email protected] for a quote for the custom development. You can reference this thread so you don't have to repeat what you would like.
