No, I am completely logged out of nagiosxi as I'm testing the read-only account.
Thanks.
Custom Dashboards not visible
Re: Custom Dashboards not visible
Hm-m, let's try this one more time.
1. While logged in as nagiosadmin, go to: Admin->Manage Components->Backend API URL->Edit Settings->select the "read-only" user from the "User" drop-down menu and click on the "Apply Settings" button.
2. From any of the URLs listed, copy the section starting with "&ticket=". It should look something like this:
&ticket=pshl704jb2f2jccdhf690ngg92naagh3c2mg0n49oi89rjkb0pj0e0gm38tcned0
3. Log in as the "read-only" user and go to: Dashboards->right-click on the dashboard you would like to view and Open Link in New Tab.
4. Copy the URL and append the part you copied in step 2, so it should look something like this:
http://<ip address>/nagiosxi/dashboards/dashboard.php?id=9iphur&ticket=pshl704jb2f2jccdhf690ngg92naagh3c2mg0n49oi89rjkb0pj0e0gm38tcned0
5. Paste the URL in a browser and hit "Enter".
Note: If you still cannot get this working, we may have to schedule a remote session to further troubleshoot this issue. Send us an email at [email protected] with a subject line: "Preview: Re: Custom Dashboards not visible".

Re: Custom Dashboards not visible
I got a session timed out message.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Re: Custom Dashboards not visible
My bad - I trimmed the URL short by accident. You need to have the username in the URL as well
Change the URL to look like this:
http://<ip address>/nagiosxi/dashboards/dashboard.php?id=9iphur&username=userb&ticket=pshl704jb2f2jccdhf690ngg92naagh3c2mg0n49oi89rjkb0pj0e0gm38tcned0
Change the URL to look like this:
http://<ip address>/nagiosxi/dashboards/dashboard.php?id=9iphur&username=userb&ticket=pshl704jb2f2jccdhf690ngg92naagh3c2mg0n49oi89rjkb0pj0e0gm38tcned0

Re: Custom Dashboards not visible
It's working now. I think logging on as the read-only account to retrieve the URl of the dashboard did the trick.
Thank you very much.
