Check your configuration file(s) to ensure that they contain valid
directives and data defintions. If you are upgrading from a previous
version of Nagios, you should be aware that some variables/definitions
may have been removed or modified in this version. Make sure to read
the HTML documentation regarding the config files, as well as the
'Whats New' section to find out what has changed.

hmm for some reason, it seems that sourceguardian is not coming in correctly. Which version of XI are you attempting to install? If you could post your /etc/php.ini and /etc/php.d/sourceguardian.ini files please. Finally to get some diagnostic information before sending what I think will be the resolve, post the full output from "php -v".
Nagios-Plugins maintainer exclusively, unless you have other C language bugs with open-source nagios projects, then I am happy to help! Please pm or use other communication to alert me to issues as I no longer track the forum.
We need more information, is the above message coming up when you try to apply configuration? Or when you click on a certain button? This is not a common problem. What is the process you are using to create a service?
In XI, go to the CCM (Configure → Core Config Manager → Commands). Click “Add
New” in the right hand pane.
• Give the command a name, we will use “event_handler_test” for this example.
• Now we need to define the “Command Line”. “$USER1$” references the folder
“/usr/local/nagios/libexec” from the resources.cfg file. This is the default path for
plugins and scripts in XI. We will create a script later on to be called by this command,
and for the sake of uniformity, we will name our script “event_handler_test.sh”.
• As this command will not be used to check hosts nor services, but will be used as an
event handler, set the “Command Type” dropdown to “misc command”.
• Make sure the “Active” box is checked.
• The final command definition should resemble the image to the right. Click save when
