manage nagiosxi from console

Post by hector.roman »

I wonder if it is possible to manage nagiosxi from console? This should disable NagiosQL only? without losing the ability to continue saving the data in the database.

saludos from Chile.

If what you are asking is how can I use flat configuration files with Nagios XI and not the MySql database, yes this can be done through the use of Static config's. You should not remove the MySql database however, as it houses more than just Host/Service data.

Static configs cannot be edited in the interface as they are outside of the database backend.
