I wonder if it is possible to manage nagiosxi from console? This should disable NagiosQL only? without losing the ability to continue saving the data in the database.

If what you are asking is how can I use flat configuration files with Nagios XI and not the MySql database, yes this can be done through the use of Static config's. You should not remove the MySql database however, as it houses more than just Host/Service data.

It worked like Nagios core, quite well now my end customer has the problem that it can not manage the thresholds, as I can do this from the GUI of administration??

Static configs cannot be edited in the interface as they are outside of the database backend.
